Our Goal
At Fulcrum Bodywork we specialize in Restorative Manual Therapy for pain relief and performance. With 20 years of experience it is our goal to work with you to understand the underlying cause of your pain and to design an effective treatment plan to alleviate your discomfort and get you back to living your life to the fullest!
Restorative Manual Therapy
Restorative Manual Therapy describes a comprehensive system, rather than a single technique, that utilizes detailed therapeutic assessment, skilled palpation and the appropriate manipulation to the areas contributing to your pain. Using skill and creativity our therapists will utilize various techniques such as deep tissue massage, cranio-sacral therapy, visceral manipulation, neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, gentle joint mobilizations and lymphatic drainage to address your specific condition.
Restorative Manual Therapy is based on traditional osteopathic principles and European-style osteopathic manual therapy. Our practitioners are not licensed physicians and our practice of manual therapy is not meant to serve as an alternative to conventional medical treatment. Rather, it serves as a complement to it! We welcome the opportunity to work with allopathic health care providers.

Goal Oriented Approach
How do we approach the first treatment?
Our therapists will begin by talking with you about your health history, lifestyle habits and your treatment goals. This is followed by an assessment to help guide us in designing your Restorative Manual Therapy treatment. We will then explain our assessment and talk to you about your personalized treatment plan and how we will be working with you to achieve your goals. You will remain clothed for your session so please wear something that is comfortable and easy to move in like cotton sweat pants and a cotton t-shirt. Before closing the session we will provide you with appropriate self-care strategies to encourage your involvement in reaching your goals.
